Camille Martin

Camille Martin, a poet and collage artist, moved from New Orleans shortly after Hurricane Katrina to Toronto, where images of ice and snow began to creep into her poems. She is the author of Codes of Public Sleep (BookThug, 2007) as well as several chapbooks. Her poems have been widely published in journals in the United States and Canada. Her current work in progress is a collection of edgy sonnets. She teaches literature and writing in the Department of English at Ryerson University in Toronto.
